Synopsis:

Thirty years after killing her two baby daughters, Paula Sims is on a quest to bring awareness to postpartum psychosis and change the law in the United States.

Katya Berger

Katya Berger is a director and producer whose work combines journalism, art and advocacy to tell educational stories aimed to move audiences and inspire action. She produced One Thousand Voices in collaboration with contemporary artist Owanto, an immersive sound installation composed of audio testimonies from female genital mutilation survivors which was exhibited in museums worldwide. Previously, she was a producer for Quotidien Avec Yann Barthès, Sept à Huit and UN Women. She has directed two short documentaries, Becoming Cyborg (Scientific American, 2017) and Flowers (EDAN TV, 2019).

Maria Chiu

Maria Chiu is a director and producer whose work appeared on VICE, BBC, CNN, Esquire, Buzzfeed and Hulu. She produced the Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner The Exiles and received a Tribeca and ESPN Future Filmmaker prize for co-directing The Towers. Maria's love for documentaries stuck when she picked up her first camcorder. A blend of storyteller and journalist, she likes to go between stories of quirky subcultures to investigating multibillion dollar companies.
